Eddie Money performs at Harrah's February 12

Easy Money
Everything I do, I do it for you." Eddie Money says it at least once during every show, and his upcoming performance at Harrah's February 12 will be no exception. Money has been making music and delivering it to his fans since the mid 1970s. It was Money's knack for catchy, blue-collar rock and roll, delivered with a surprising amount of polished, radio-friendly finesse, that helped garner a string of chart-toppers. With hits like "Two Tickets To Paradise," "Baby Hold On," "Walk On Water" and "Think I'm In Love," Money continues to perform more than 150 shows worldwide every year. "Touring and writing is my life," Money explains on his website. "It's who I am and what I do. And I don't see it changing any time in the near future. Hey, I get up every day and do what I love. Why change that?" For Money, a lot has changed since the days when he survived the early MTV era by filming a series of funny narrative videos, something his peers were reluctant to do. However, he wasn't able to resist the temptations of a rock-and-roll lifestyle, and his popularity dipped in the mid '80s as he struggled with various addictions. Once he sobered up, he made a remarkable comeback in the late '80s with singles like "Take Me Home Tonight" and "Walk On Water" reaching the Top 10. Money's heyday may have been more than a decade ago, but fans still crave to hear his songs. Show time is at 9 p.m. in the concert venue. Tickets are $25.
