In December, the state House narrowly passed a bill that would legalize Table Games.
In December, the state House narrowly passed a bill that would legalize poker, blackjack and other table games, and set the total tax rate at 16 percent, including 2 percent for local governments. Large casinos would be required to pay a $16.5 million license fee to add the games; smaller, 500-machine resort casinos would pay $7.5 million each.
